Relentless Promotions | LINCOLN, Nebr. | It's been a long wait, but Stu Snyder and SLS Motorsports are slated to kick the season off May 8 and May 9. After many tracks were forced to shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic, racing is slowly kicking off across the nation -- with social distancing measures in effect. Snyder will hit the road on May 8 to US-36 Raceway in Osborn, MO and return to his backyard on May 9 to participate with the IMCA RaceSaver Sprints at Eagle Raceway in Eagle, NE. "I'm excited that we finally get to put all of our hard work this winter into play. It's been an extended off-season, and our team hopes that everyone has stayed safe during this time," Snyder stated. "It will be nice to get back behind the wheel. I feel confident that 2020 will be a good year for our team, our sponsors and fans, and we are looking forward to getting back to a little bit of normalcy."
Specific social distancing measures are not yet announced for either track, but there will be rules in place to regulate the safety of all involved. Stay tuned to the SLS Motorsports social media accounts for any information released in regards to what each track sets in place, or should any plans be changed up until that point.
