Relentless Promotions - LINCOLN, Nebraska (August 23, 2020) – The Sprint Series of Nebraska got off to a slow start this year due to many races being canceled under COVID-19 health measures. Racing was scheduled to begin on April 11th, but it wasn’t until May 17th that a race was entered into the books.
A heated point battle between Tyler Drueke, Stu Snyder, and Toby Chapman ensued throughout the shortened season. Heading into the final points race at US-36 Raceway, Drueke led Snyder by a short three-point advantage.
Lincoln, Nebraska’s Stu Snyder snagged the point lead from Drueke with a feature win at the finale event, where Drueke finished just three spots behind causing a tie for the points championship.
The tiebreaker saw Stu Snyder seizing the points championship, with two feature wins on the season with the Sprint Series of Nebraska at US-30 Speedway in Columbus, Nebraska and US-36 Raceway in Osborn, Missouri.
